Sky Q just came to Android and iOS, huzzah!

Sky has launched its Sky Q phone app for iOS and Android, to accompany the existing app for tablets.

The new software allows you to set remote recordings, live stream content, and access on-demand programmes through your phone.

It also lets you download shows recorded on your Sky Q box, allowing you to watch the recordings on the go, and provides Sky’s Top Picks of content recommended for you.

It’s also worth noting you’ll have to download shows over Wi-Fi before leaving the house, as you won’t be able to download once you’re out and away from your home network.
