Getting up can be a struggle, and beeping alarm clocks don't help matters. But what if you could be roused to your favourite smell? That's the idea behind SensorWake.
Choose from scents as diverse as coffee, croissants, the ocean and even the smell of money! The capsules come in packs of two, with each having enough smelliness to wake you up 60 times. The packs are: American breakfast (bacon and freshly squeezed orange juice), continental breakfast (espresso and hot croissant), candy rush (sweet peach and strawberry candy), enjoy the break (seaside (mono, tiara flower) and lush jungle (cut grass, leaves), invigorating aromatherapy (purifying tea tree and harmonious chocolate), vitalisation aromatherapy (stimulating ginger and invigorating peppermint) and VIP lounge (dollar and ebony luxury).
According to the makers, the scents are dosed just right, and wake you up in under two minutes 99 per cent of the time. If you're not woken after three minutes, there's an audio alarm as back-up.
It sounds pretty simple to use. You just set the wake-up time, then insert the scent of your choice – it's as easy as sliding a capsule into a coffee machine. Come your wake-up time, it'll start pumping out the smell, and you should be woken within two minutes.
The makers claim it's a more relaxing way to start the day, instead of being jolted awake by a loud alarm.
