Ubisoft has confirmed the second The Crew closed beta will run in early November.
In order to participate though, you’ll need to sign up on the Crew beta waiting list (http://thecrew-game.ubi.com/portal/en-GB/beta/index.aspx). There’s no guarantee for gamers who try and get entry via this method.
However, if you pre-order The Crew on the Uplay Shop, you’ll definitely get access to the closed beta early next month.
“The cloed beta will allow players to explore the entire United States and complete challenges in two of the five regions available in the game, the Midwest and East Coast,” explained Ubisoft.
The PvP lobbies in both of the aforementioned regions will also be accessible to players during the closed beta. Plus, gamers will also be able to customize their vehicles using two of the five spec classes, Street and Dirt.
Anyone who wishes to try out the PvP sections will require a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold account, but everything else will be accessible without such a subscription.
The Crew is officially due to be released on December 2 on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
The game will allow players to explore 12 major American cities, including New York, Chicago, Miami, LA and Washington DC. The open world map is split into five sections, covering 19,000 square miles in total across the East Coast, West Coast, Mountain States, Midwest and The South.
