The second Fallout 4 SPECIAL video deals with Perception, another important trait for your post-apocalyptic survival.
Following last week's excellent Strength trailer, we're now being told how important Perception is to your Fallout 4 character.
"In today's chapter, we focus on Perception to help you better understand how to deal with immediate post-nuclear threats", explained Bethesda. "Remember, the rebuilding of this great nation of ours may fall to you, so study these materials carefully to ensure you survive and thrive in a life above ground."
Perception has a few perks when it comes to its benefits to your character.
In the post-apocalyptic wasteland you're going to come up against some scary beasts. And in order to take them out, you have to be perceptive. The higher your Perception score, the better you'll be at utilising VATS (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeted system), which allows you to shoot specific areas of weakness on an enemy with greater precision.

Perception is also great for making your character better at stealing, or what Bethesda is calling "morally ambiguous moments".
The higher your Perception, the better you'll be at attempting more complicated thefts from more precarious targets.
Fallout 4 is coming on 10 November to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
