Rare announces Sea of Thieves for the Xbox One during Microsoft’s E3 2015 press conference
Calling it their most ambitious title, Sea of Thieves is a pirate-themed multiplayer game with MMO elements where you’re tasked with leading a crew and battling other ships.
In a short announcement trailer, we did get a taste of what to expect from the cartoony-looking game including some naval combat action, making crew members walk the plank and finding treasure chests.

Sea of Thieves doesn’t have a release date yet but will land as an exclusive for the Xbox One when it does eventually turn up.
In other Rare-related news the iconic game studio also announced the Rare Replay Collection, a compilation of 30 classic games from the company’s back catalogue. Marking the studio’s 30th anniversary, 30 games will be available in total including Battletoads, Viva Pinata, Perfect Dark and Conker’s Bad Fur Day.

The Rare Replay Collection will be available from August 4th for the Xbox One. While there’s no news on UK pricing, Rare has confirmed that it will cost $30 in the US making it $1 a game. Now that’s not a bad deal at all.
