Samsung was so butthurt about the Note 7 GTA mod it made YouTube remove the video

There’s no doubting the exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 saga is one of the biggest tech stories of the year.

While it has proved a nightmare for Samsung and the loyal customers who bought the phone, there’s been plenty of humour to be found for the rest of us.

Whether it’s the below Halloween costume we spotted today, or the brilliant GTA 5 mod which replaced the in-game sticky bomb with a Note 7, the internet has had a field day with Samsung’s unfortunate situation.

Hilarious, right? Well, Samsung is in no mood for this kind of malarkey.

It filed a copyright claim and made YouTube remove the video created by HitmanNiko.

Samsung obviously doesn’t want any attention drawn to this matter, so here’s another version of the video that remains up on YouTube (via The Verge).
