Samsung is king when it comes to hitting just about every form factor of mobile device under the sun.
That’s why it’s no surprise that the company is seemingly testing an 18.4in tablet.
A leaked image appears to suggest that Samsung is working on a super-sized slate, at least in India anyway.
That’s according to an import listings document that shows electronic devices passing through the region, courtesy of French tech site Nowhereelse.
The device to note is a “Sample Samsung Tablet PC”, which is listed as having an 18.4in screen size.
The document specifically notes the device is “for testing and evaluation purpose and will be destroyed. Not for sale,” suggesting that Samsung isn’t gearing up to retail this device just yet.
The tablets were being shipped from South Korea by Delhi Air Cargo, and are valued at £327 individually, and £2,288 for the whole batch.
Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t confirmed any such device, with an 18.4in tablet much bigger than the company’s core consumer slates.

Samsung recently unveiled its new flagship Galaxy Tab S2 tablets.
It’s also worth noting that a teaser for Samsung’s “Unpacked” event on 13 August appeared to suggest a new tablet is in the works.
