Samsung is one of the few phone makers still producing flip phones, and now more details about its next foldable offering have surfaced.

Alleged specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2, successor to 2015's Galaxy folder, appeared on GFXBench earlier this week.

The handset is expected to launch in Asia only this November, packing a 3.8-inch 800 x 480 display, quad-core 1.4 GHz processor, and Adreno 308 graphics, belonging to a Snapdragon 425 chipset.

Now, as spotted by SAMMobile, a new FCC filing has revealed the phone will also come with a 2,000mAh battery.

However, it should be noted that the original FCC filing appears to have disappeared from the official website, although it still appears here.

As the phone is only likely to go on sale in Asia, it could be that the filing was removed on purpose, although all of this is speculation at this point.

The Galaxy Folder 2 is also expected to come with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 5MP rear camera, and 2MP front-facing shooter.

What's more, the phone is thought to run Google's latest mobile OS, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Of course, there's been no official word on the Galaxy Folder 2 from Samsung as yet, so it's still anyone's guess as to exactly when it'll arrive and how much it will cost.
