The Samsung Galaxy Tab S was a great addition to the tablet space, and the rumour mill has long been churning out whispers of a sequel.
The latest titbit about a Galaxy Tab S2 comes in the form of leaked images, purportedly showing the device in the flesh…or rather, plastic, metal, and glass.
The snapshots were first revealed by Nowhereelse.fr, claiming to have sourced the images from a Taiwanese certification body.
There’s nothing particularly exciting on show in the shots; it’s just further confirmation that Samsung really is working on a Mk.2 version of its popular flagship slate.
The front is classic Samsung, sporting an oval home button, a slim bezel, subtle speaker grills, and the company’s logo.
The rear is similarly prosaic, offering a square-ish camera and what looks to be a plastic body.

Previous rumours have pointed to a June launch; that wouldn’t be a shocker, as the original Tab S landed on June 27.
We’re expecting a 2048 x 1536 display, an octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and Android 5.0 Lollipop on board.
It’s expected that there will be two core variants of the Tab S2 – a 9.7-inch version and an 8-inch version.
Both of these will purportedly ship in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi plus LTE options.
The grapevine has also revealed we could see a hyper-thin 5.4mm profile on the Tab S2, which makes it slimmer than the iPad Air 2.
