The much debated Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will be arriving in the UK this summer, if one particular source is to be believed.
Speaking to SamMobile, a usually reliable Samsung mobile site, the source confirmed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 would be released this summer in two different variants.
Both a Wi-Fi only and a Wi-Fi 3G option of the 8-inch slate would be offered, with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Wi-Fi only model arriving at the end of June and the cellular choice not arriving until the middle of July.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is tipped to sport a rather reasonable starting price tag of $149 (£97.31), which would make the device the most affordable tablet currently on offer, even scooping the £159 price tag of the Google Nexus 7.
Previous Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 rumours have suggested that the tablet will play host to a 1.7GHz Eynos processor, a 5-megapixel camera, a 10.1-inch 2560 x 1600p AMOLED display, and would lack the S-Pen of the Samsung Galaxy Tab series.
Currently, all we have to confirm the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 exists is the model numbers SM-T3100 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 3G version and SM-T3110 for the Wi-Fi only variety. A bunch of other Samsung SM devices have also appeared on Samsung’s service page, including those carrying the codes SM-T210, SMT210R, SM-T210X, SM-T211, SM-T215, SM-T310, SM-T310X, SM-T311, SM-T312 and SM-T315.
