Samsung's new flagship phone isn't even out yet, but its display has already been voted the best in the business by a respected source.
However, a new report from DisplayMate shows that the new duo's display tech has improved considerably.
It's the same resolution, of course, and it's just as colour-accurate as the S6 and Galaxy Note 5. However, It's 24 percent brighter than its predecessor, and contrast is also better.
The report even states that it matches or exceeds the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in these areas, which is impressive given the latters larger size.
It's also claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 display is "the first to do Automatic Brightness correctly," with a more flexible and customisable Personalised Automatic Brightness Control on offer.
