Samsung Galaxy S7 now available in ‘Pink Gold’

Samsung has announced the release of a new Pink Gold version of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

The arrival of the new colour brings the choice of tones for the range up to five, alongside Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Silver Titanium.

If the tone looks at all familiar, well, let’s face it, it’s because it’s basically the same as Apple’s Rose Gold iPhone 6S.

According to Samsung, however, Pink Gold was chose because “it, like the other colours available for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, is a natural colour that provides a sense of comfort.”

The company also draws attention to the glittery, shimmery effect of the new hue.

“In particular, the refined, skin tone-inspired Pink Gold color scheme is intended to soothe and incorporate a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication to the smartphones’ design,” adds Samsung.

Colour inspiration aside, we found the Samsung Galaxy S7 to be arguably the best phone on the market when it launched last month. In particular, its refined design (a subtle evolution of the Galaxy S6), class-leading Super AMOLED screen, and top notch 12-megapixel camera help it to stand out from the crowd.

And now you can pick it up in gaudy pink. What else could you want?!
