Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is “stronger than Donald Trump’s hairspray” – apparently

With every major new phone release, there arrives a video of something attempting to destroy it.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is actually a pretty tough smartphone, it turns out.

As is proven by YouTuber JerryRigEverything, who went to lengths to cause harm to the brand-new device.

The video, titled “Bend test, Scratch test, Burn test”, shows the Samsung handset standing up to all kinds of abuse.

Check it out:

Of course, as you see in the video, the phone can be scratched and bent, but it’s unlikely to happen under normal use.

That said, JRE does offer some advice to certain users:

“If you’re a heavy-set, skinny-jean-wearing individual, I wouldn’t recommend putting this phone in the back pocket of your skinny jeans. It would compromise that water-resistant seal.”

He also adds that the phone is “stronger than Donald Trump’s hairspray”.
