Samsung Galaxy S6 pre-orders to kick off this Friday

Samsung Galaxy S6 pre-orders are to kick off this Friday, March 20, the Korean manufacturer has confirmed.

With the Galaxy S6 release date having already been pencilled in for April 10, those extra eager to splash their flagship phone-bound cash will be able to secure their iPhone 6 rival three weeks ahead of an in-store launch.

It’s not just the company’s flagship phone that’s being put up for advanced order, either. Those after something a little more innovative will also be able to pre-order the side screen incorporating Galaxy S6 Edge from Friday.

If you’re keen to snap up the S6, you won’t be short of places to pre-order the HTC One M9 Challenger.

“The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be available to pre-order from all high street retailers and networks including Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse, Three, EE and O2,” an official Samsung spokesperson announced.

There’s even the possibility of snapping up the handset a day earlier than the masses, too.

Those customers who have pre-ordered devices from the Samsung Experience Store and Samsung.com will be able to pick up their device a day earlier on 9th April,” Samsung confirmed.

Despite revealing Galaxy S6 pre-orders are just days away, Samsung has yet to confirm pricing for its latest leading line.

Having debuted at MWC 2015 earlier this month, the Galaxy S6 is shaping up to be a true powerhouse of the smartphone space.

Pairing a 5.1-inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel QHD display with its own 64-bit Exynos 7420 processor, Samsung has bestowed the S6 with 3GB of RAM and an improved 16-megapixel, OIS-enhanced primary camera.

Given consumers plenty of choice, both the S6 and S6 Edge will be available to pre-order in a selection of colour schemes and storage capacities.

With 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models set to launch, White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum handsets will be available from day one.
