Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ price tipped ahead of launch
Samsung’s Unpacked event is set for August 13, and two new handsets are tipped to make an appearance.
One such device is the much-rumoured Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, the pricing of which may have just leaked.
A new report by Sammobile claims “insiders” have revealed Samsung’s price strategy for the curvy-screened phablet.
According to the article, the S6 Edge+ will start at 799.99 euros (£563 converted) for the 32GB model.
That’s interesting, because the normal Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge currently retails at 849.99 euros.
So that leaves us with three possibilities: (1) this report is spurious, (2) the S6 Edge price will be cut (as rumoured), or (3) Samsung will sell S6 Edge phablet spin-off for less than the S6 Edge itself.
We’d say the latter is unlikely – why would Samsung undercut itself by selling a bigger device that carries the same internal specs for less money?
Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t officially announced either the handset or its pricing, so we can’t verify any of this new claimed information.

However, we don’t have long to wait, and Samsung’s launch event is just two weeks away.
It’s expected that we’ll see the Galaxy S6 Edge+ landing alongside the Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung’s new Gear A smartwatch.
