Samsung Galaxy S5 promo video officially released

Following the phone’s recent formal unveiling, a Samsung Galaxy S5 promo video has been release, highlighting a selection of the handset’s features.

Highlighting a range of the Samsung Galaxy S4 follow-on’s key functions and capabilities, the Samsung Galaxy S5 promo video has showcased the iPhone 5S rival’s inbuilt fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensor.

Although little more than a piece of marketing fluff, the S5 promo video offers a detailed insight into some of the phone’s finer points, including the array of S Health fitness features and new collection of software-introduced camera capabilities.

With the handset having been formally announced during Samsung’s MWC 2014 press conference last week, the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy S5 release date will be held on April 11.

Powered by a new 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS, skinned with TouchWiz, the Samsung Galaxy S5 specs sheet is further enhanced by 2GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel rear-mounted camera.

With a 2-megapixel snapper up front, the S5 features list is bolstered by a 5.1-inch SuperAMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080p Full HD resolution and an oversized 2800mAh Lithium-Ion battery.
