Samsung Galaxy S4 Unboxing: Pictures of the latest Android powerhouse

Before you rush out to the shops this Friday to snap up Samsung’s latest flagship handset, we have gone hands-on with the quad-core device to bring you our Samsung Galaxy S4 unboxing.

Offering a detailed insight into what you can expect to come packaged with the HTC One and iPhone 5 rival, our picture based Samsung Galaxy S4 unboxing shows off everything from the device’s new wood-effect packaging to the collection of cables and connectors that come paired with the handset.

Despite being formally unveiled in NYC alongside a selection of cases, covers and accessories, the Samsung Galaxy S4 comes boxed with a minimalist collection of components. As well as the expected power plug and microUSB charging cable, the Sony Xperia Z competitor also lines up alongside a pair of basic in-ear Samsung headphones and a selection of variably sized silicone tips.

With a Samsung Galaxy S4 release date set for this Friday, April 26, the handset will hit retailers with a 1.9GHz quad-core processor powering a high-end collection of specs which includes a new 5-inch 1080p Full HD display, 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera and Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Lining up at just 7.9mm thick  and 130g in weight, the Samsung Galaxy S4 features list is rounded off by a collection of innovative software additions including Smart Scroll and Samsung S Health.
