Ahead of next week’s Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event, the South Korean manufacturer has teased the handset in a new Samsung Unpacked preview video.
Generating buzz around the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 release date, the newly released video, which looks set to be the first in a series, has teased the recently confirmed Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event which will see the handset formally unveiled in New York City on March 14.

Although failing to offer a glimpse at the Samsung Galaxy S3 follow-on, the rather cheesy video, shows the Unpacked boxed handed to a courier, strangely a child in a suit, to be safeguarded until next Thursday’s formal unveiling.
Blowing its own trumpet, the Samsung Galaxy S4 teaser video has suggested that the handset “is going to be one of the most amazing products to hit the market since TVs went colour.”
Samsung Galaxy S4 Rumours
Expected to be the new dominant force on the smartphone scene, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has been tipped to play host to a wide array of premium innards, including everything from a flexible, unbreakable display to the CES 2013 unveiled Exynos eight-core processor.
Whilst reports of a flexible touchscreen display have been widely rubbished and the eight-core CPU looks set to make way for a 2GHz quad-core offering, the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S4 specs sheet looks set to see the handset boast a monumental array of high-end components.
Tipped to run Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the Samsung Galaxy S4 features list looks set to be further bolstered by a 4.99-inch 1080p Full HD display, a 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera and an all new, slightly squared design that features a minimalist bezel.
With the handset to be unveiled in Times Square next Thursday, a Samsung Galaxy S4 release date has been mooted for April with the device expected to hit retailers between April 15 and 22.
