Samsung Galaxy S4 now available in gold, platinum or rose gold finishes

Anyone who fancies a premium finish for their Samsung Galaxy S4 can treat themselves to a gold, platinum or rose gold edition of the handset.

Consumers can now purchase a Samsung Galaxy S4 finished with 24-carat gold, rose gold or platinum, although they will have to pay a premium for such a luxury.

The customised premium edition of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be rimmed with 24-carat gold, rose gold or platinum, depending on their preference.

Available from GoldGenie, the premium options are a little costly. The gold Galaxy S4 is £1697, the platinum £1757 and the rose gold option is £1727.

Anyone willing to fork out for such a luxury will be pleased to hear they can still chose a black or white Samsung Galaxy S4 to compliment the precious metal detailing.

The special editions will also ship in GoldGenie’s cherry oak finished box complete with limited edition certificate.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Features
Underneath the gold, rose gold or platinum trim the Samsung Galaxy S4 is still the same Android powerhouse. Packing a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor with 2GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080p full HD screen with a 441ppi image density.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 runs the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX interface and introduces new software features like Air View and Air Gestures.

Already Samsung fastest selling smartphone, having shipped over 4 million units in the first five days after it launched, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was heavily tipped to be a very popular handset.

The flagship is thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S3 at just 7.9mm thick, despite playing host to a larger screen.

Making the most of its new camera functionalities, the Samsung Galaxy S4 packs a 13-megapixel camera in the rear and a 2-megapixel snapper up front. Also offering 4G LTE and HFC connectivity, the S4 also has the internal storage options up to 64GB but lacks a microSD card slot.
