A Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini release date has been confirmed with the 4.3-inch Galaxy S4 spinoff set to hit retailers this weekend.
Smaller sibling to the fully fledged Samsung Galaxy S4, the Mini was formally unveiled late last month before being officially showcased during the company’s recent Galaxy and ATIV themed launch event.
While the dual-core handset has been dated for launch, a Samsung Galaxy S4 price is still something of a contentious area, with a selection of retailers all offering the device at varying price points.
With online retailer Unlocked Mobiles listing the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini price as £365, Handtec has said it will let wannabe owners pick up the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini replacement for £390.
High street presence Phones 4U has revealed it will not ship Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini pre-orders until Monday, July 1st. Despite this slightly delayed arrival, those snapping up the S4 Mini from Phones 4U will see advanced orders bundled with a free 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
The full array of leading network providers have confirmed their intentions to stock the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, with the likes of EE and Carphone Warehouse just two of the high profile names jumping on the S4 Mini themed bandwagon.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is one of a trio of Samsung Galaxy S4 spinoffs to be announced. It will eventually line up alongside the waterproof Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and the optical zoom camera hosting Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Although not a high-end powerhouse like its big brother, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini plays host to an admirable array of specs with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor lining up alongside a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display.
Running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini sees a 1900mAh Lithium-Ion battery line up alongside 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. With an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini specs sheet is further enhanced by a second, 1.9-megapixel CPU up front.
The plastic clad S4 sibling lines up at just 8.94mm thick (1mm chunkier than the flagship model) and a mere 107g in weight.
