A listing for Samsung's upcoming flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S3, has appeared on the German version of Amazon, Amazon.de.
The information, which was promptly removed after the 'mistake' was realised, lists the new phone as featuring a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 12 megapixel camera. It is not known whether the site has information we don't or if it's simply guessing as to the likely specs.
What we do know is that the most solid information we yet have about the phone, from Vietnamese site Tinhte, suggests the handset will differ from these specs in almost every way. The video on that site shows a device with a 4.6in Super AMOLED screen, no microSD card and an 8 megapixel camera. Who knows, maybe the Amazon listing is a ploy by Samsung to throw us off the scent after that video leaked.
The phone is highly anticipated, due largely to Samsung actively looking to keep a lid on all information before its official unveiling, something which will happen at a Samsung Unpacked event on 3rd May.
What are your thoughts on what we can expect? Have we been hood winked by Tinhte or is Amazon just blindly guessing? Let us know your thought in the comments.
