Samsung Galaxy Note Edge price and release date confirmed
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will officially land in the UK on December 12.
Samsung’s oddball blower will be available from Carphone Warehouse stores exclusively in white, as well as the generic blue colour option.
Be prepared to dig deep for dosh though, as the handset retailer is flogging the Note Edge for a wallet-fondling £749.95.
There’s also the option to pick it up on contract for £58.50 a month, although you’ll need to sign up for 24 months at that price.
The Galaxy Note Edge is Samsung’s one-of-a-kind phablet that touts a screen that curves over the right side of the device.
This means that a portion of the bezel and frame is replaced by a display that’ll flaunt all kinds of info, including message alerts and other app-sired notifications.
The wrap-around touchscreen display is the first of its kind on a flagship device, although it adds a hefty premium onto the normal price of the Galaxy Note 4, which typically comes in at around £585.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note Edge comes with a quad-hd super AMLOED display, a 16-megapixel OIS rear camera, a 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor.
The South Korean firm announced its quirkiest smartphone fare yet at the Samsung Unpacked event back in September, although it wasn’t clear at the time whether the device would even make it to the UK.
