Ahead of the imminent MWC 2013 Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 release date, new leaks have seen full Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 specs detailed alongside a selection of prematurely unveiled images.

Seemingly set to take design hints from the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, the previously mooted Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has been snapped in prematurely outed advertising materials, with a selection of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 specs accompanying images of the white plastic backed tablet.

Appearing courtesy of a secured Twitter account, the leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 details have suggested that, as previously expected, the latest addition to Samsung’s stylus packing Galaxy Note line will slot in perfectly between the current 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the larger Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, and S-Pen friendly, display all but confirmed.

With the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 screen said to feature a HD friendly 1,280 x 800p resolution, the leaked document has also suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 specs sheet will be bolstered by 16GB of integrated storage, expandable via microSD, a 5-megapixel rear-mounted camera alongside a second snapper up front and 2GB of RAM. Given its Note branded billing, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, which will reportedly feature a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, is also, as expected, set to host Samsung S Pen support.

Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has yet to officially enter the realms of reality, the device has already been confirmed by company executives, with Samsung’s head of mobile, JK Shin, earlier this week declaring that “the 8-inch Galaxy Note will be released from MWC.”

Adding some intrigue to a device that has made numerous early arrivals ahead of next month’s official MWC 2013 unveiling, the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 leak has suggested the tablet will feature HSPA connectivity option, teasing the possibility of an integrated SIM card for mobile data and, potentially, calling abilities.

Are styluses back in fashion and enough to tempt you into splashing out on Samsung’s next Note device or do you see the leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 as a rehash of dated tech?
