Has the Samsung Galaxy Note 7's UK pricing just been revealed?

The Galaxy Note 7 – or will that be the Note 6? – is nearly here, and after being left out when the Note 5 made the global rounds, UK fans of Samsung's premium phablet are no doubt keen to know how much the device will cost when it finally lands.

Up until now, all we've really known is that it won't be cheap, but we might now have a more tangible idea of the Note 7's UK and European pricing.

According to mystery SamMobile 'sources', the Note 7 is set to start at €849, or €50 more than the S7 Edge cost at launch.

That translates to roughly £725 before tax and doesn't account for the current state of the UK economy, so we'd predict that the actual UK RRP for the Note 7 would be around £749 if this rumour is accurate.

Working against the recent speculation, though, is that the fact that the Note 4 carried a £600 asking price at launch, and a £150 leap is quite steep, even for a new-gen premium product. Being more cautious, a UK release price in the region of £699 is also a distinct possibility.

Either way, if you want to be one of the first to get your paws on the Note 6/Note 7, it's time to start saving.

I'm not buying anymore phones this year.

Well, maybe just a small one, for the road.
