According to reliable mobile phones tipster @evleaks, Samsung will launch its next flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 6, in mid-August this year.
This new Note 6 rumour conflicts with previous gossip, which hinted that the device would be introduced slightly earlier this year - South Korean media sources were pointing to a mid-July reveal.
But there's good reason to bet on an August launch.
Firstly, @evleaks has a strong track record when it comes to looking into the mobile phone world's crystal ball. And secondly, Samsung first introduced the Galaxy Note 5 in August 2015 at an event in New York, ahead of a European unveiling in September at IFA.

Not content with just giving a vague launch time frame, however, @evleaks - known to his Mum as Evan Blass - has claimed that the Note 6 will be released on August 15, 2016.
Here's what he tweeted:
Other Note 6 rumours have Samsung equipping the device with a 6-inch, 4K UHD display and packing it with a whopping 6GB of RAM.
It's also possible that the Note 6 could ship with Google's new Android N mobile OS out of the box.
