Earlier this week, reports out of Korea suggested that the upcoming phablet could land as early as the end of July.
That’s in contrast to the September launch window of the Note series that we’ve seen in the past.
According to GForGames, Samsung’s president J K Shin squashed the rumours at a press meeting today.
The Samsung boss reportedly revealed that all rumours are entirely false, and confirmed that the company has not changed the launch schedule for the Note series.
The original report cited unnamed insiders, claiming the finished phone had already been shown off to Samsung clients.
This rumour was lent further credence by the fact that a separate report claimed Apple’s iPhone 6S will also launch early.
That report tipped an August release for Apple’s next flagship, purportedly thanks to better-than-expected component yield rates.

It’s likely, then, that Samsung will press on with its usual IFA conference unveiling of the new Note handset.
This year’s IFA Berlin is due to run from September 4 to 9, so it’s not a huge wait, and will mean the handsets will likely be available to buy before Christmas.
