The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 QHD display has been confirmed by an official IFA poster and the Samsung Mobile site.

Ahead of its official launch on September 3, a surreptitious snap of an official Samsung IFA poster has confirmed a key feature for the Galaxy Note 4.

The above poster, as you can see, confirms that the stylus wielding phablet will come with an LG G3 rivalling QHD display, offering a resolution of 2560 x 1400p.

This is further confirmed by Samsung own website UAProf. The UAProf, or user agent profile, is used by websites to deliver content mobile optimised for each device’s screen resolution.

The UAProf for the SM-N910T or the Galaxy Note 4, lists a resolution of 2560 x 1440p QHD.

With these two key pieces of information, it’s looking pretty concrete that the Note 4 will come with that stunning QHD resolution.

As for the rest of the Note 4, rumour has it that it will have a 5.7-inch screen size, like the previous Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with a whopping 4GB of RAM.

You’ll allegedly find a 16-megapixel camera in the rear and the majority of sensors like the fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor will make the transition from the Samsung Galaxy S5 to the Note 4 as well.

No doubt Samsung will have some other S-Pen related features and new software tricks to show off for the Note 4 too.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launch has been set for September 3 and we’ll be there to cover all the latest from Samsung live from IFA 2014 in Berlin.

If its not curved ill not want it . Ive got the note 3 and fancy a change to a curved screen now . Samsung unveiled a working curved prototype 2 years ago and we have only had curved tvs since . So they have had long enough in my eyes ill be watching on wed and if they fail ill be buying the LG Flex instead .

man i would love something different too but from the pics ive seen of it encased by a protective rubber casing it doesn't look like it curves, if its the same boring design just with better specs im gonna be so disappointed, ive had the note 2, using note 3 now and got both of those on launch day for tmobile, first in line, but i was hoping the note 4 would be revolutionary, but it feels more like a spec upgrade...

O00oo00 it is pretty sexy. Tiny tiny bezels she is mostly screen and I like it. It should be a nice upgrade from my Note 2 which I still love but I really want to try out the Gear VR with that QHD display.

Hoping for more than a clone of the LG G3. Flexable or curved or 3 sided included with that qhd display. You need to impress us and stand out from the rest of the crowd. I want to whip this bad boy out and wow people when they see it. Looking like last years Note 3 won't do that with it almost 2015.

Severely disappointed if its just internal with a metal frame.

Sorry. Curved phones are too much of a niche market. Maybe a few months later they might come out with a curved Note variant, but they're not going to alienate the majority who don't want a curved phone.
