Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will feature fingerprint scanner insiders claim
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will play host to an integrated fingerprint scanner, latest reports have claimed just hours before the handset’s formal unveiling.
With the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date widely expected to be confirmed during this evening’s IFA 2013 Samsung Mobile Unpacked press conference, new reports have cited supposed insiders in suggesting the Note 3 will be fitted with a fingerprint reader.

While many might question the need for an integrated fingerprint reader on your smartphone, the mooted insider has suggested that the Galaxy Note 3 will feature dual user modes, with users able to unlock the handset to their bespoke homescreens with their finger. Other people using your phone, however, will instead use their finger to open the device into a restricted, stripped back guest mode.
With a raft of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumours having done the rounds in recent weeks, it has been suggested that today’s IFA based unveiling will see the third-generation phablet offering land with a new, larger 5.7-inch display that packs 1080p Full HD visuals.
Incorporating Samsung’s S Pen stylus, the Note 3 specs sheet looks set to be bolstered by the same 1.9GHz quad-core processor and 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera as the Samsung Galaxy S4. It has been suggested that the phone will be the first to pack 3GB of RAM.
Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be the star of tonight’s show, it is believed that the handset will share the limelight with the Samsung Galaxy Gear, an Android based smartwatch which will see the Korean company attempt to take on the wearables market.
