Consumers eager to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be able to do so from September, with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch following in October.
According to the sources speaking to SamMobile.com, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will start shipping in week 36, which is the week commencing September 2. This would mean the next instalment in the Galaxy Note series will be released the days immediately after its official unveiling on September 4 at IFA 2013.
The Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, also tipped to make an official appearance on September 4, will be apparently be available to purchase in week 40 2013. This would put the Samsung smartwatch release date somewhere between September 30 and October 6.
However, the source suggested that the Galaxy Gear smartwatch release may well be delayed for a week or two beyond this, putting the availability around the middle of October.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumours
The subject of many an online rumour, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 should head to market running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on a 5.7-inch display.
However, there have also been rumours that the Galaxy Note 3 could also ship with 5.5-inch and 6-inch display models, all with a beefy 3450mAh battery.
Tipped to pack a rather speedy 1.9GHz quad-core processor, the Galaxy Note 3 should pack the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa CPU missing from the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the UK. According to multiple leaks, there’ll be 3GB of RAM on board too.
Packing the same 13-megapixel rear camera as the Samsung Galaxy S4 with Xenon flash, the Galaxy Note 3 will have a secondary 2-megapixel snapper for video calling and selfies.
