Samsung’s smartphones have had more leaks than a busted colander just lately, and that trend continued on Tuesday as the purported Galaxy A8 escaped into the wild once again.
This time there’s a full hands-on video of the device courtesy of NoWhereElse.Fr who apparently picked it up from China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA).
The 3:20 video shows the thin and light, iPhone 6-inspired device in all its glory, while an accompanying spec sheet dishes the dirt on the feature line-up too.
The Android 5.1 handset is also set to rock a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octo-core CPU (4x ARM Cortex-A53 @ 1.7GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 @ 1.0GHz), an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM.
The upper mid-range handset will reportedly have a 3,050mAh battery pack, a 16-megapixel camera with HDR and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
There’ll also be a fingerprint sensor and 16GB of storage supplemented by microSD support, according to Tuesday’s report.
Samsung is yet to officially acknowledge the Galaxy A8, but a host of leaks over the last few weeks suggests a launch could be imminent.
