New images of the repeatedly rumoured red Google Nexus 5 have leaked online, hinting that the colourful handset is close to launch.
Having surfaced a number of times in recent days, the brightly hued Google Nexus 5 has been caught on camera once again, with the red device snapped alongside new packaging that once again points to the imminent arrival of the newly coloured handset.
With the Google Nexus 5 having originally launched in standard black and white options back in early November, the rumoured red handset has been photographed out in the wild on a number of occasions, although further colours have also been tipped for release.
Surfacing via Twitter user @artyomstar, snaps of crate upon crate of red Google Nexus 5 have hinted that an in-store release could be just days away.
Last week first word of a range of colourful Google Nexus 5 handsets surfaced, with early reports suggesting the Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5S rival will eventually be available in eight different hues.
While a red Google Nexus 5 is expected to launch first, a yellow model is also expected to make an appearance shortly.
On top of this, the quad-core, Full HD device has also been said to be heading to stores in orange, blue, purple and green.
Although new colours are on the horizon, it is not believed that the specs sheets of the vibrant handsets will differ in any way.
