The Raspberry Pi Zero, which at just £4 ($5) is the cheapest computer we're aware of, just got a much needed accessory in the form of a camera connector.
Announcing the launch of the custom six-inch adapter cable on the Raspberry Pi blog, Pi Foundation founder Eben Upton explained how the £4 connector works with the Zero board.
"Through dumb luck, the same fine-pitch FPC connector that we use on the Compute Module Development Kit just fits onto the right hand side of the board...
In other words, tinkerers will now be able to use a standard or NOIR camera with the Zero, fixing one of the few chinks in the otherwise awesome board's armour.
