Rage 2: All the latest gameplay, news and trailers ahead of E3

E3 2018 is almost upon us and Bethesda’s line-up of titles has remained shrouded in mystery. We simply have no idea what it’s going to show. That is, until now. Rage 2 has been officially revealed with a bombastic gameplay trailer showcasing gory combat, vehicular action and the promise of a huge open-world.

Trusted Reviews has compiled everything you need to know about Rage 2 including the release date, gameplay, trailers and all the latest news.

What is Rage 2?

The debut gameplay trailer reveals that Rage is an open world first-person shooter set in a sprawling wasteland similar to the first game. Players will be in possession of an assortment of lethal weapons including the absurdly stylish Wingstick. Judging by the trailer, you’ll also be capable of double-jumping and dishing out mystical powers of sorts to blow enemies away.

Of course, vehicles will play a large role alongside the mountain of firearms you’ll be shooting about the place. The trailer showcases several different varieties, many of which give off the impression that players can customise things however they like. Here’s hoping, and we’d also love to ride a monster truck over some post-apocalyptic goons.

Rage 2 story – what’s it about?

The original post-apocalyptic shooter ended on a surprise cliffhanger that left dedicated fans clamouring for more, and they haven’t received any resolution for eight long years.

Many of them are probably hoping for a sequel that addresses those events, and considering the title, we may see just that.
