Pure Jongo A2 launches in the UK

Pure has announced that its Pure Jongo A2 wireless multiroom Hi-Fi adapter is now available to buy in the UK.

The Pure Jongo A2 is now available to buy directly from Pure for the RRP of £99.99 and comes in five different colours to complement the Pure Jongo S3 wireless speaker: black, piano, lime green, burnt orange or mango.

Pure Jongo A2 Features

The Pure Jongo A2 is a wireless multiroom Hi-Fi adapter that packs Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity to connect with audio systems and turn them into streaming devices.

Capable of connecting with any existing system via its choice of digital or analogue connections at the rear of the Pure Jongo A2, the device will then allow the Hi-Fi to connect with Jongo multiroom music systems and other compatible devices.

Packing a high-quality 24-bit internal DAC, the Pure Jongo A2 has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity built in that allows it to wirelessly stream audio content from tablets and smartphones.

Both locally stored content on the devices and that which is streamed through apps like Spotify can be fed through the Jongo A2. The adapter is also compatible with the Pure Connect app for Android and iOS devices.

Offering radio and music streaming via the Pure Music on-demand music service, the Pure Connect app is free to download via the Apple App Store or Google Play.

The Jongo A2 can be used in conjunction with the Jongo A3 wireless speaker to create a multiroom music system, and with every purchase, Pure offers a month’s free trial of its Pure Music. After that the service costs £4.99 per month.
