Pure has launched the Pure Evoke D4, which come with optional Bluetooth compatibility for music streaming.
As the fourth-generation of the Evoke DAB radio, Pure has introduced improved audio and new features within the classic design.
“2013 is an important milestone for digital radio with the government committed to making a positive decision on radio switchover by the end of the year,” said Nick Hucker, Director of Marketing at Pure. “As the company that pioneered the digital radio revolution with the original Evoke-1, which turned ten last year, we have an incredibly strong roadmap of digital radio products for the home and the car to suit the need of all consumers as the category develops in the coming years and becomes more mainstream.”
You can choose between the Pure Evoke D4 for £129.99 with a walnut or oak veneer, or the Evoke D4 with Bluetooth for £149.99, which comes with a real wood “domino” black or “glacier” matte white finish.
The Pure Evoke D4 comes with a remote control and a touch sensitive snooze handle for quickly stalling your morning alarm for another ten minutes.
It also features an optional rechargeable battery pack for 50 hours of portable listening and iPod/MP3 input for adding your own tracks, beyond Bluetooth streaming.
You can programme up to 30 presents via four quick access buttons, use the kitchen or sleep timers and utilise the alarm.
The Evoke D4 is available now, but the Bluetooth option won’t be available until December. Both will be stocked at all good electrical retailers.
