PSN members will be able to claim their 10 per cent discount this Friday.
Sony has confirmed PSN members can claim the complimentary 10 per cent for PSN members, as offered as compensation for the Christmas hack, on January 23.
“As promised, as a thank you to all of our PSN members, we are happy to announce the details of the 10 per cent PlayStation Store discount,” reads the Sony blog.
However, there’s a catch to Sony’s generosity. The 10 per cent discount will only be valid from Friday until Monday.
“The discount will be valid from 9.00am GMT on January 23 until 9.00am GMT on January 26.”
You can use the 10 per cent discount for a one-time price cut on eligible items in a single cart purchase via the PS4, PS3 or the Sony Entertainment Store.

Sony outlines that you can use the discount for games, games DLC, season passes, pre-orders and TV and movie content.
You can’t use the discount to buy a PlayStation Plus subscription or to cut the price of Music Unlimited or rental video content.
The code will be published on the PlayStation Store for all to access, as well as on regional PlayStation Twitter accounts.
PlayStation Plus members will also start receiving their five-day PS Plus membership extension in the coming days. The rollout has started now and requires no effort from you.
It’ll simply be added to the end of your existing PlayStation Plus subscription.
Sony will send you an email with a confirmation notice soon.
