Sony has confirmed the PS4 price drop that was rumoured back in June.
You can officially pick up a PS4 for a lot less than its RRP, nearly two years after the console was launched back in 2013.
According to a statement given to Eurogamer, the upcoming Uncharted Collection PS4 bundle will be offered in both 1TB and 500GB hard drive options in the UK.
The larger 1TB SKU will cost £329.99, while the smaller 500GB version will cost an extremely affordable £299.99.
That's much less than the official RRP of £349.99, even if you want that beefy 1TB hard drive.
It's worth noting that this new PS4 pricing is only available for an indefinite amount of time, and doesn't represent a full price cut.
That's outlined in a statement provided to TrustedReviews by Sony, which reads as follows: "We would like to clarify that the pricing of the Uncharted PlayStation 4 bundles is actually a promotional price that will be available across a selection of retailers for a limited time only".

This new price drop was rumoured when the first listings for the freshly announced 1TB PS4 came in at £349.99 or less, which at the time was the same RRP as the original 500GB SKU.
Last week Sony cut the price of the PS4 in China and Japan, bringing the 500GB PS4 in line with the updated price of the 500GB Xbox One.
Eurogamer's statement also stated that the Uncharted bundle might come in the newer C-Series hardware design, which is quieter and more power efficient than the original design.
