The PS4 Killzone: Shadow Fall Mega Bundle has been priced at £449.99 in the UK, higher than the price originally outlined by Sony UK boss Fergal Gara.
Customers can purchase the PS4 Killzone: Shadow Fall bundle in the UK for £449.99, which will get them an additional DualShock 4 controller, a digital copy of the game and the PlayStation Camera peripheral.
Sony UK boss Fergal Gara originally said the PS4 Mega Bundle would retail for somewhere within £10 of the Xbox One price of £429. However, with several retailers offering the Mega Bundle for £449.99, Sony has obviously raised the price of its PS4 bundle.
GAME and ShopTo are offering the PS4 Killzone: Shadow Fall Mega Bundle to customers who have already pre-ordered a PS4 on a first-come first-serve basis.
“ShopTo is pleased to announce that we have started sending out e-mails to the lucky customers who are eligible to swap to the PS4 Mega Bundle. So keep an eye on your inbox,” reads a statement on the ShopTo website. “If you don’t receive an e-mail today all is not lost! We’re sending in batches and more will become available as swap offers are rejected.”
Sony is also offering a cheaper PS4 Killzone: Shadow Fall bundle, with only a single controller, no PlayStation Camera and a copy of the game for £399.99. in addition to the basic £349.99 PS4 unit, the PS4 Killzone: Shadow Fall bundle offers a 14 day PlayStation Plus trial.
PS4 enthusiasts can pre-order the £399.99 Killzone: Shadow Fall bundle for a down-payment of £20 at GAME now.
It is not known whether customers who pre-order now will receive their console bundle on the November 29 UK PS4 release date or whether the PS4 Mega Bundle will be offered to buy at any point to customers who haven’t already pre-ordered a PS4.
