PS4 game leaked via Ubisoft developer CV

Ahead of the Sony PS4 release date, a new, unnamed, PS4 game has leaked via the online CV of an Ubisoft developer.

Listed teasingly as a “Confidential game,” the online CV of Sebastien Alzamora, the lead 3D artist at Ubisoft Annecy, the as yet unconfirmed PS4 game is said to be in development for the existing Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 as well as the as yet unconfirmed PS4.

Offering few details on the as yet unconfirmed title beyond its PS4 bound launch, Alzamora’s CV, which has since been removed, suggested the ‘confidential’ PS4 game entered production at Ubisoft Annecy back in 2011.

Whilst the Lyon, France based developer Ubisoft Annecy, a spinoff of the Ubisoft brand, has stated that it is currently working on an “Undisclosed Project,” the company’s Associate Producer, Olivier Saillant, has teased the potential PS4 game will new a “new AAA project.”

PS4 Release Date

Although the eagerly awaited PS4 release date has yet to be confirmed, last night Sony issued invites to an upcoming New York based press event that will be held later this month.

Suggesting that the upcoming announcement will let invitees “see the future,” the February 20 Sony event has been widely rumoured to be the launch platform for a PS4 release date unveiling. It is expected that whilst Sony will confirm the Sony PS4 release date in a little over two weeks’ time, the next-gen console will not hit retailers until later in the year.

Adding further backing to the potential February 20 Sony PS4 release date announcement, the Wall Street Journal has reported that “people familiar with the matter have said the new device will make its debut there.”
