Sony has confirmed that the PS4 custom faceplates will be available in the UK next month.
As announced at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this year, Sony has revealed that you’ll soon be able to pimp out your PS4 with custom faceplates.
These colour plates replace your existing HDD bay cover to give your PS4 a bit more of a colourful hue.
“Quick and easy to fit, you can customise your system in a matter of seconds,” explained SCEE’s Andrew Mason.
“Simply remove the HDD bay cover and then slide and click your chosen faceplate over the PS4 hard disc drive.”

There will be four colours available from November 18 here in the UK – Neon Orange, Aqua Blue, Red and Glacier White.
Sadly, although the gold and silver feature in the video, they’re not coming to the UK at all. Or to Australia or Ireland.
There’s no word on pricing for any of the PS4 custom faceplates as yet.
