Sony has announced its excellent PlayStation Vue TV streaming service will soon be available on the web for Mac and PC owners.
The subscription streaming service, which also available on Android TV devices from today, aims to entice US cable and satellite subscribers into cutting the cord.
The pending launch on PC and Mac devices will also bring a new ‘mini player’ feature, which enables subscribers to watch while continuing to browse the PS Vue service.
Sony is telling fans to stay turned for a launch date.

Subscribers can watch on five devices simultaneously, while the cloud-based DVR makes it possible to record hundreds of hours of content.
Plans start at $29.99 for 55 channels, all the way to $74.99 for the Ultra package with HBO, Showtime and local content.
Sony is yet to announce a similar scheme for the UK, but it is at the forefront of a growing movement in the United States.
PS Vue faces competition from Sling TV, and a new service from AT&T. Meanwhile, Apple, Amazon and Google are thought to be on the trail too.
