The service, which allows gamers to subscribe to a library of PS3 games for a monthly fee ($19.99/£13) or rent them individually for set periods, has been granted a major UI revamp on the flagship device.
The Verge reports that the changes were part of Sony’s PS4 software update last week, but were only switched on today.
Sony has been trumpeting the service as the "Netflix of games" for some time, and while the library doesn’t quite match up yet, at least experience is now along the right lines.
Browsing the new app now feels more like flicking through Netflix, as content is far easier to find. The new interface offers featured titles sitting above recently added games, while scrolling further down the menu allows gamers to horizontally browse genres.
Clicking on a title displays a more attractive preview screen, and from there it’s only one click for subscribers to begin playing.
"We built a new categorisation for the games; the actual navigational paradigms are different, the product detail scene is different," Robert Stevenson of Sony-owned cloud-gaming company Gaikai told Engadget.

Officially speaking, the Gaikai-powered service remains in public beta in the US; limited numbers in the UK, too, can jump on board with a private beta.
The updated version of the app should be appearing on PS4 consoles now, featuring new games for July.
The additions to the library – which currently has about 130 titles – are Infamous: Festival of Blood, Sound Shapes, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, Wheel of Fortune, Super Mega Baseball and Resistance 3.
