The relatively slow rollout of Sony’s cloud-based PlayStation Now streaming service ramped up today with a launch on the company’s PS Vita and PS TV hardware.
The subscription and rentals service allows customers to play a library of PS3 games via the cloud.
Now the firm’s handheld console and TV set-top box have joined the PS4, PS3, Sony TVs, Blu-ray players as well as Samsung’s Smart TVs with access to the platform.
The line-up of more than 125 games has also been boosted today with the addition of five new titles (via Engadget).
God of War III, Dynasty Warriors 8, MX vs. ATV Supercross, Bomberman Ultra, and The Last Guy are the new games for August.
As always, Sony is offering newcomers the chance to gauge their enjoyment with a 7-day trial of the PS Now service, which arrived in the UK in beta in June.

The service is quite expensive when compared to its film and television counterpart ($19.99 a month), while the library of games isn’t quite the exhaustive list of previous-generation classics it needs to be.
The service has also been criticised for offering nothing for PS3 gamers seeking to keep their library alive without having the older console set up alongside the next-gen model.
