Pebble has teased several surprises for its fans over CES 2014 next week.
The Kickstarter-funded e-paper Pebble smartwatch could be getting an update during CES 2014 as the company has hinted it will have several announcements to make.
In a blog post on the official blog, Pebble community manager Joseph Kristoffer has suggested the company will launch “something special” at CES 2014.
“Help us kick off CES, The Consumer Electronics Show, in style. Join us Monday, 6 January at 11AM Pacific [7pm BST] for an announcement by CEO Eric Migicovsky, streaming on getpebble.com. Pebblers who were part of our CES announcement last year can tell you: you won’t want to miss the news (Eric will be colour-correct this year, promise)!”
The event will be live streamed via the Pebble website, with a potential colour screen alternative model tipped to make an appearance.
However, Myriam Joire, Product Evangelist at Pebble, has also added some additional fuel to fire via Twitter.
Responding to one Pebble fan on Twitter asking about new hardware launches for CES, she said:
“There are many things.”
