With only a few days to go until pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S3 start to land on punter’s doorsteps, it would appear there may be a delay to the Pebble Blue version.

Reports are coming in that Samsung has had serious issues sourcing enough correctly made Pebble Blue backs, after a manufacturing defect in an initial run caused 100,000s of the waffer-thin bits of plastic to be ditched.
Clues first emerged from Dubai where the handset has been available to buy for a few days, but only in the white version. But now more sources are beginning to confirm that only the Marble White version of the handset is arriving at retailers.
It looks like here in the UK we won’t have too many issues but other countries around Europe may see significant delays.
We’re still waiting for an official statement from Samsung on this but will follow up with more when we have it.
