PC games retailer GOG.com opens winter sale with 48 hour deals

Black Friday and Cyber Monday may be in the books for another year, but the hot gaming deals just keep on coming.

Desktop games retailer GOG.com has kickstarted its annual winter sale for those playing on PC, Mac and Linux.

The store is kicking things off with a host of 48-hour deals including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for £24.99, half the usual price. Another favourite, Pillars of Eternity, is also 50% off at £17.49.

The site is also offering huge seasonal discounts on Star Wars bundles. The 8-game Blaster Bundle is £19.32 (60 per cent off), while the 10-game Saber bundle is £15.60 (77 per cent off)

Meanwhile, the likes of Alan Wake is down to £5, while Towerfall Ascension can be grabbed for just £2.59.

Risk-takers can also buy a mystery game that isn’t listed within the sale for $3 (£1.99).

There’ll be new discounts arriving every day until December 13.
