Panasonic Lumix GX1 Images Emerge

Panasonic is certainly going all out when it comes to

micro-four thirds cameras, having recently announced its new X-Series lenses and now

leaked images of a new interchangeable lens camera has appeared.

Images of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 emerged over the weekend

with the new snapper wearing one of those new ultra-compact X-Series lenses. The black

micro-four thirds camera certainly looks appealing in the shots from Taiwan’s

Mobile01 forum.

Aside from the pictures, no details regarding sensor size or

ISO level were revealed but it has been previously reported that the GX1 will have a

16-megapixel sensor, a new and improved image processor and up to 12,800 ISO.

From the pictures themselves we can see that the GX1 will

have a retractable flash, stereo microphones, full HD video recording but no

EVF.

The GX1 will likely sit alongside the current crop of

micro-four thirds such as the Panasonic Lumix G3 and the Panasonic Lumix GF3.

We are expecting an official announcement from Panasonic next week

regarding this camera so make sure you stay tuned for all the latest details.

For now, let us know in the comments if the GX1 is making your camera senses

tingle.
