Packard Bell has announced a new all-in-one (AIO) PC which has been on a serious diet since its predecessor launched last year, with the all new PB oneTwo coming in 65 per cent slimmer.
Packard Bell has managed to cram in all the features from last year’s model into this new AIO which the company claims can be used as a “cinema, digital TV, sound system, photo gallery, meeting point, monitor, DVD player/recorder (including Blu-Ray playback) and more.” Phew, that’s a lot of work for one slim PC.
The new PB oneTwo (yes, we think the name is slightly odd too), will come in 21.5in and 23in versions and feature the latest second-generation Core processors from Intel. Graphically you will be able to choose between discrete graphics from nVidia or AMD or choose Intel’s own integrated graphics.
Both 16:9 displays will have Full HD resolutions of 1920 x 1080 and for audio, the PB oneTwo includes 5.1 Creative THX TruStudio PC sound with two 2.5W speakers.
The oneTwo has four USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, a 5-in-1 card reader, HDMI-in, and jacks for audio in and out should mean connecting your digital camera, tablet, mobile phone, hard drive and headphones a little easier.
The Windows interface has also been tweaked to give you touch access to most of the main social networks including Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr.
The PB oneTwo M (21.5in) and PB oneTwo L (23in) will be available this month with price points of £599 and £699 respectively, including VAT.
