P.T inspired Allison Road launches Kickstarter campaign

A kickstarter campaign has been launched for Allison Road, a survival horror title inspired by the iconic P.T.

The developers of Allison Road have taken to Kickstarter to raise funds for the game’s development.

London-based developer Lilith Ltd is developing the title, and hopes to raise a total of £250,000 to finance the project.

Only a PC release is currently planned for Allison Road, however the project’s stretch goals may see it go multiplatform.

The first-person survival horror title plans to be a “next-gen” experience, running on Unreal Engine 4 and set to take full advantage of the Oculus Rift VR headset.

Allison Road will be fully compatible with Oculus Rift, but the developers have stressed that this is an optional way to play the game.

Touted as the “spiritual successor” to the iconic P.T, Allison Road will see you exploring a haunted house to uncover the supernatural events hidden within it.

You won’t be alone in this mysterious house however, a horrifying creature will be watching your every move.

“These days it seems that horror games are more about style over substance and little to no narrative, whereas we are going to return to the roots of true psychological horror,” Lilith said.

Allison Road wishes to recreate the tense psychological horror seen in games such as Silent Hill and P.T, instilling the same sense of paranoia we all hate to love.

It successfully made it through Steam Greenlight earlier this year, and is currently in development for PC with a planned release for 2016.

Pledging at least £15 to the project will bag you a copy of the game on PC once development is complete.

The Kickstarter campaign sits at £48,965 at this time, with 29 days of fundraising left to go.
