Overwatch Halloween Terror: Everything you need to know

Halloween is almost upon us and that means Blizzard Entertainment is set to celebrate the seasonal occasion with another event in Overwatch. Last year saw a variety of new skins, sprays, and voice lines introduced alongside an all-new PvE mode in the form of Junkenstein’s Revenge.

Halloween Terror is now live on PS4, Xbox One and PC with an assortment of new skins, sprays, emotes and more. Junkenstein’s Revenge also makes a welcome return!

Overwatch Halloween Terror – What is it?

Overwatch Halloween Terror is a seasonal event that celebrates all things spooky in the world of Blizzard’s beloved shooter. It adds a healthy amount of new content to Overwatch including new skins, emotes and sprays for all your favourite heroes.

The Return of Junkenstein makes a comeback, seeing you and a group of other players take on Junkrat’s endless army of zombie robots. It’s fun, silly and perfectly befitting of the Halloween spirit. Don’t expect too much depth, though.

Overwatch Halloween Terror Times – When is it?

Overwatch Halloween Terror will last from October 10 until November 2, giving us a bunch of time to grind for our favourite skins. This happens to be right before Blizzcon 2017 kicks off.

Overwatch Halloween Terror Modes – Anything new?

This year’s Halloween Terror features Return of Junkeinstein. The brief yet enjoyable PvE mode sees you playing as either McCree, Ana, Roadhog or Hanzo while taking on an army of Junkrat’s haunted Zomnic creations. It’s the same experience as last year with few noticeable differences, although you can select from multiple difficulties or an endless horde mode.

Overwatch Halloween Event Skins – What are they like?

Halloween Terror brings with it a handful of impressive new skins, including some brilliant outfits for Mei, Zenyatta, and Ana inspired by classic horror films, games, and literature.

All loot from last year’s event is now reduced, so you won’t have to spend triple the number of coins to unlock them. Witch Mercy will finally be mine!
